Laboratory

The Clinical Laboratory provides hematology, clinical chemistry, immunology, urinalysis, and microbiology testing. Tests not done in-house are referred to other military and civilian facilities. Patients’ test requests are entered electronically by the provider or by the laboratory staff based on signed orders by a provider. Patients are instructed to report to the laboratory for specimen collection or to set an appointment for collection of those samples requiring patient preparation.

Children aged 10 and older must present a military or government-issued ID card when requesting care at the clinic.

The laboratory does not provide results directly to patients over the phone; please contact the ordering provider for results.

The clinical laboratory also supports the fight against cancer as a Salute to Life C.W. Bill Young/Department of Defense National Marrow Donor Registration Site.
