Optometry

Active duty service members on PRAP, AUoF, and flying status deploying within 90 days have priority for appointments. Active duty service members not on a special status may be referred to the network for routine exams. Patients with acute eye conditions or injuries should see their primary care manager first. More information about TRICARE vision benefits can be found at https://www.tricare.mil/CoveredServices/Vision/EyeExams

Retirees are eligible for glasses only and may order military spectacles if they have a current prescription from a civilian provider. Family members aren’t eligible for military procured eyewear.

Active duty service members can order replacements for lost/broken glasses with a prescription issued within the past year through the G-Eyes Program.
