Ophthalmology is a referral only clinic and does not perform routine eye exams or aircrew physical examinations. The Ophthalmology Clinic provides medical treatment for diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts evaluations (but if surgery is indicated patient will be referred to the network), eyelid and orbit problems, dry eyes, strabismus and other ophthalmic disorders. Any person over 12 years of age, with a surgical referral, can be referred by their primary care manager for further evaluation. Parents are asked to report to the clinic only with the child who is the patient. Children may not accompany the parent during testing when the parent is the patient.
