Pediatrics Clinic
Children ages 10 and older must present a military or government-issued ID card when requesting care at the clinic.
Appointments can be scheduled through the appointment line at 402-232-CARE (2273), Option 1, or on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.
Walk-in services are non-urgent visits with a nurse or medical technician, using approved protocols. Walk-in services are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 - 11:30 a.m., and Wednesday, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m., for the following:
- Strep/Sore Throat (as the primary symptom) for less than five days in patients ages 6 years and older
- Suture or staple removal, dressing changes
Walk-in wart treatments are available Tuesdays, 8 - 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 - 4 p.m.
- Only after initial treatment has been completed by a provider
- Consent form within the last six months
Please send your PCM team a message on the
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal for the following reasons that may not require a scheduled appointment:
- Chickenpox, Hand-Foot-Mouth, diaper rash, lice, pinworm, and other acute illnesses for Nurse triage and instructions
- ER or Urgent Care follow-ups
- Hearing checks
- Initial ADD/ADHD screening and evaluation
- Paperwork for PCS or EFMP Clearance
- Renew referrals
- Request lab results (if not visible on portal
- Other miscellaneous questions
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal
- Appointment booking Pediatric Clinic appointments can be booked online through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. Click View Patient Information/PCM to verify your child’s assigned PCM. Please be sure to book in the Air Force Medicine Offutt Pediatrics clinic and select an appointment with their PCM.
- Messaging Communicate with your child’s healthcare team about non-urgent concerns and requests.
- Prescription Refills are now available on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. Look for the Rx Refills tab to select pickup at the military pharmacy or ScriptCenter.
- Prescription Renewals (no refills remaining) Using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal, click on Health Record > Medications and submit a renewal request to Offutt Pediatrics_(PCM Name). Please submit renewal requests when you have at least one week of medications remaining to allow enough time for processing.
- Patient portal access is dependent on credentials managed by the Defense Manpower Data Center. Parents have full online access to Protected Health Information of dependents ages 12 and under. Patient portal access for parents/guardians of adolescents ages 13-17 is limited to viewing appointments, messaging, immunizations, and allergies. Well Child visits and Immunizations
The Immunizations Clinic is available on a walk-in basis, Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for vaccines.
Well Child visits are recommended at the following ages:
- Newborn
- 2 weeks
- 2 months (routine vaccinations)
- 4 months (routine vaccinations)
- 6 months (routine vaccinations)
- 9 months
- 12 months (routine vaccinations)
- 15 months (routine vaccinations)
- 18 months (routine vaccinations)
- 24 months/2 years old
- Annual wellness exam 3-18 years old
- 4-year-old (routine vaccinations)
- 11-year-old (routine vaccination)
- 16-year-old (routine vaccinations)
- A well child/school physical is needed for a child new to the area, entering kindergarten, and seventh grade with an up-to-date vaccination record.
