Family Medicine Residency Clinic

Schedule appointments by calling the appointment line at 402-232-CARE, (2273), Option 1. Appointments can also be scheduled using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. Click View Patient Information/PCM to verify your assigned PCM. Please be sure to select the Air Force Medicine Offutt Family Medicine Residency clinic and look for appointments with your PCM or a member of their team. 

Children ages 10 and older must present military or government-issued ID card when requesting care at the clinic. 

Walk-in services are non-urgent visits with a nurse or medical technician using approved protocols. Walk-in hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 a.m. to noon, and Wednesday, 9:20 a.m. to noon, for the following services: 

• Pregnancy testing if you meet the following criteria: 
  • Five or more days late for menstrual cycle 
  • Walk-in services are only for qualitative testing (positive or negative) 
• Routine medication injections, such as Depo-Provera, Vitamin B-12, testosterone 
• Sore Throat 
• Dysuria/Urinary Tract Infection 
• Adult and Pediatric Cold Symptoms 
• Suture Removal 
• Follow Up Wart Treatment 
• Blood Pressure Check 
• All other medical concerns require an appointment 

MHS GENESIS Patient Portal 

• Appointment booking Many clinic appointments can be booked on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. Click View Patient Information/PCM to verify your assigned PCM.  Please book in the Air Force Medicine Offutt Family Medicine Residency clinic and look for appointments with your PCM or a member of their team. 

• Messaging The best way to get in contact with your health care team for non-urgent concerns, referral requests and other questions that don’t require an appointment is through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.  

• Prescription Refills are now available on the patient portal; look for the Rx Refills tab to select pickup at the Satellite pharmacy or ScriptCenter. 

• Prescription Renewals (no refills remaining) Using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal, click on Health Record > Medications and submit a renewal request to Offutt Family Medicine Residency_(PCM Name). Please submit renewal requests when you have at least 10-14 days of maintenance medications left.. 

• Patient portal access depends on credentials managed by the Defense Manpower Data Center . Parents have full online access to Protected Health Information of their dependents ages 12 and under. Patient portal access for parents/guardians of adolescents ages 13-17 is limited to viewing appointments, messaging, immunizations, and allergies. Well Child visits are recommended at the following ages: 

• Newborn/2 days 
• 2 weeks 
• 2 months (shots during second month) 
• 4 months (shots during fourth month) 
• 6 months (shots during sixth month) 
• 9 months 
• 12 months (shots on or after first birthday) 
• 15 months 
• 18 months 
• 24 months (2 year) 
• 3 years 
• 4 years
