Public Health
Deployment health
We process all military deployers and civilian travel medicine health needs. We assist National Guard and civilian deployers, but please contact us before stopping in. If a service member is tasked to deploy, please contact the UDM to receive reporting instructions. We also offer overseas travel recommendations, including medications and immunizations, to all active duty service members and dependents who are traveling out of the country. Please inquire at least two weeks before overseas travel.
Occupational health
Audiograms: Public Health performs audiograms for individuals who are assigned to the Hearing Conservation Program or on flying status. Audiograms are scheduled on the appointment line at 402-232-2273, option 1.
Fetal Protection Program: All Air Force employees with a positive pregnancy test must have their workplace exposures evaluated to ensure the mother’s safety and that of her unborn child. Please call 402-232-3474 to initiate this evaluation and begin the pregnancy profiling process (for military members).
Community health
For all community health needs, including food safety and sanitation, entomology, temporary food booth operations, and disease prevention (sexually transmitted, tuberculosis, child blood lead, and animal bites), please call 402-232-7387.
We offer a Tick Bite Management program. If you or a family member has been bitten by a tick, bring us the tick in a sealed baggie, along with your name and contact information.
