Pharmacy

Connect to the Pharmacy through Secure Messaging provider to send a message to the Pharmacy staff to activate your prescription. This service can also be used to check if your provider has entered a new prescription, verify receipt of electronic or faxed prescriptions sent from off-base providers to the Satellite Pharmacy, or see if certain medications are in stock. If you already have a Secure Messaging account, search for the "OFFUTT AFB PHARMACY-SATELLITE" provider and add for each family member.

Main Pharmacy

The main pharmacy fills prescriptions ordered during face-to-face visits at the clinic. Prescriptions are filled once patients check-in at the pharmacy kiosk. Once processed, the pharmacy will hold prescriptions for seven duty days before they are returned to stock.

Satellite Pharmacy

For the safety of our patients and staff, the BX Satellite Pharmacy is allowing only curbside drop-off and pickup of prescriptions at this time. Please follow traffic flow instructions when approaching the Base Exchange. All pharmacy visitors should remain in their vehicles and will not be permitted in the pharmacy lobby.

The satellite pharmacy fills prescriptions ordered during virtual appointments, processes all prescription refill requests and all prescriptions, both handwritten and electronic, from off-base providers. All new prescriptions MUST BE activated through TOL Secure Messaging or by calling 402-294-3228 prior to going to the pharmacy. If you do not have a Secure Messaging account visit https://www.TOLsecuremessaging.com to request access.

All refills will continue to be requested through the phone-in refill line at 402-294-4758. Prescription refills will be available for pickup three duty days after request. Refills not picked up after seven duty days are returned to stock.

Prescriptions are easily refilled using the TRICARE Online Patient Portal. You can also:

  • View all active prescriptions with current status

  • Quickly select multiple prescriptions for refill

  • Enter prescription numbers to request refills for family members

  • Receive email and/or text notifications when your request is submitted and when prescriptions are ready for pick-up

TRICARE Formulary Search Tool

Use the TRICARE Formulary Search Tool to look-up your drug. A search can tell you:

  • Formulary status (generic drug, brand-name drug, non-formulary drug, non-covered drug)
  • Where the prescription can be filled
  • Copayments and limitations, such as prior authorization
  • Coverage review requirements and forms
  • Alternative medications, including costs

To start your search, you’ll need to put in the brand name or generic name of the drug and then select the strength prescribed, as well as your gender and age.‚Äč

Mail Order Pharmacy

The TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery is a safe, convenient way to fill up to a 90-day supply of most maintenance drugs, with delivery of medications to your home. Details are available at Express Scripts.  Switch to Home delivery by asking the pharmacy staff, by calling 1-877-363-1303, using the Express Scripts mobile app or by asking your Primary Care Manager to submit your prescription electronically.

Special Drug Requests

Special Drug Requests are medications that we do not regularly carry on our Formulary. Your primary care manager may enter a Special Drug Request directly through our computer system. Pharmacy staff will contact you with any questions and/or to notify you that your prescription is available for pick-up. Prescriptions for Special Drug Requests from a non-military/off-base provider must be submitted to your PCM for submission and review. The original paper prescription from the off-base provider must be delivered to the Satellite Pharmacy for validation and if approved, the Pharmacy staff will contact you when your prescription is available for pick-up at the Satellite Pharmacy.
