Pharmacy

Clinic Pharmacy

The clinic pharmacy is available only to active duty service members needing deployment or mission-related medications.

The clinic pharmacy is closed until further notice due to staffing constraints. Active duty service members needing deployment or mission-related medications will pick these up at the main clinic pharmacy. The Satellite BX Pharmacy will process prescriptions and refills..

Satellite Pharmacy

The satellite pharmacy processes all prescriptions. If you have a prescription from a TRICARE network or non-network doctor, you may fill it here, as long as it’s available in our Basic Core Formulary.

New Prescriptions

Beneficiaries must activate all new prescriptions before the satellite pharmacy can process them. There are four convenient activation options:

  • TEXT ACTIVATION SYSTEM: Text “Get in line” to 833-338-1720. The system will guide you through the process, requiring the beneficiary’s DOD ID number for each patient with prescriptions to activate. Be sure to select Offutt AFB Satellite Pharmacy. This is the best option if you need to speak to a pharmacist.
  • WEB ACTIVATION: https://cxmlink.com/DHAMTF3592
  • MHS GENESIS PATIENT PORTAL: Visit the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal and send a new message to the Offutt BX Satellite Pharmacy by searching for Offutt BX in the “to” field
  • IN-PERSON ACTIVATION: Visit the Satellite Pharmacy and check in to receive a ticket

Refills

Two convenient options for refills:

For prescription renewals with no refills remaining, requests must be made through the patient’s primary care manager.

Refills not picked up after 10 duty days are returned to stock.

Questions? Text “Get in Line” to 833-338-1720 and select “I would like the pharmacy to call me,” or visit the Satellite Pharmacy and check in to receive a ticket. We’ll be happy to assist you.

ScriptCenter Kiosk

The Satellite Pharmacy also offers ScriptCenter kiosk pickup. This secure, convenient, and private kiosk allows you to pick up prescriptions (not refrigerated) during BX operating hours, even if the Satellite Pharmacy is closed.

First, you need to complete a one-time enrollment at a ScriptCenter kiosk. To do this, scan your military ID card (Common Access Card or Uniformed Services ID card), enter your date of birth, and create a password and four-digit personal identification number. To pick up your medications the first time, you must have a current prescription number. Once you create an account, you can use your fingerprint, ID card, or password with your four-digit PIN to unlock and get your medications. When refilling your prescription, select “ScriptCenter kiosk” as your pickup location.

TRICARE Formulary

The TRICARE Formulary is a list of generic and brand-name prescription drugs covered by TRICARE. You can search the TRICARE Formulary to:

  • See how much it costs and where you can get it filled
  • See if your prescription needs prior authorization
  • Look up the medical necessity criteria
  • Get the prior authorization and medical necessity forms for your prescription

Other Pharmacy Options

As a TRICARE beneficiary, you have other pharmacy options:

  • You can use the TRICARE Pharmacy Home Delivery to have prescriptions sent to your home. This choice is the least expensive way to fill prescriptions after filling it here.
  • If you need a prescription filled after hours or when traveling, use a TRICARE network pharmacy

Special Drug Requests

Special Drug Requests are medications we do not regularly carry on our formulary. Your primary care manager may enter a Special Drug Request directly through our computer system. Pharmacy staff will contact you with any questions and/or to notify you that your prescription is available for pick-up.

Prescriptions for Special Drug Requests from a non-military/off-base provider must be submitted to your PCM for submission and review. Beneficiaries must bring the original paper prescription from the off-base provider to the Satellite Pharmacy for validation, and if approved, the pharmacy staff will contact you when your prescription is available for pickup at the Satellite Pharmacy.

Share your Satellite Pharmacy compliments, comments or concerns with the Interactive Customer Evaluation application and let your voice be heard.
