Pediatric Clinic

Children ages 10 and older must present military or government-issued ID card when requesting care at the clinic.
 
Appointments can be scheduled through the appointment line at 402-232-CARE (2273), Option 1, or through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal
 
Walk-in services are non-urgent visits with a nurse or medical technician using approved protocols. Walk-in hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - noon, for the following services:

  • Strep/Sore Throat (as the primary symptom) for less than five days in patients ages 6 years and older
  • Suture or staple removal, dressing changes
  • Wart treatments after initial provider visit and established plan of care
Please send your PCM team a message through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal for the following reasons that may not require a scheduled appointment:
  • Chickenpox, Hand-Foot-Mouth, Diaper Rash, Lice, Pinworm (Nurse will call)
  • ER or Urgent Care follow-ups
  • Hearing checks
  • Initial ADD/ADHD screening and evaluation
  • Paperwork for PCS or EFMP Clearance
  • Renew referrals
  • Request lab results (if not visible on portal)

MHS GENESIS Patient Portal

  • Appointment booking Pediatric Clinic appointments can be booked online through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.  Click View Patient Information/PCM to verify your child’s assigned PCM.  Please be sure to book in the Air Force Medicine Offutt Pediatrics clinic and select an appointment with their PCM.
  • Messaging Communicate with your child’s health care team about non-urgent concerns and requests.
  • Prescription Renewals (no refills remaining) Using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal, click on Health Record > Medications and submit a renewal request to Offutt Pediatrics_(PCM Name).  Please submit renewal requests when you have at least one week of medications remaining to allow enough time for processing.
  • Patient portal access is dependent on credentials managed by the Defense Manpower Data Center. Parents have full online access to Protected Health Information of dependents ages 12 and under. Patient portal access for parents/guardians of adolescents ages 13-17 is limited to viewing appointments, messaging, immunizations, and allergies. Well Child visits and Immunizations

Please note that shots administered on the same day as a well-child appointment do not require an appointment in the Immunizations Clinic. If you are bringing your child for shots on a day other than their well child appointment, please schedule an appointment through the appointment line or through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.

Well Child visits are recommended at the following ages:
  • Newborn/2 days
  • 2 weeks
  • 2 months (shots at any time during second month)
  • 4 months (shots at any time during fourth month)
  • 6 months (shots at any time during sixth month)
  • 9 months
  • 12 months (shots on or after first birthday)
  • 15 months
  • 18 months
  • 24 months (2 years)
  • 3 years
  • 4 years
