Women's Health (OB/GYN)

The Women's Health Clinic provides quality nursing care to eligible women (adolescent to geriatric) throughout the childbearing and menopausal cycle. We strive to teach our patients and their families positive health practices through an understanding of available community and facility resources. We provide preventive health care and the maintenance of a healthy life style in an organized, safe, and caring environment.

Care includes, but is not limited to:

  • Birth Control Counseling

  • Cancer screening

  • Dysplasia treatment

  • Infertility Work-ups

  • Mammography Referrals

  • OB/GYN preventive medicine

  • Patient/family education

  • Patient/family OB/GYN concerns

  • Sexually Transmitted Infection Treatment

Women with a positive home pregnancy test or more than five days late for their cycle should contact their primary care manager clinic to request a pregnancy test. Results will be received by PCM team, and patients will receive a call with results from their nurse. Active duty patients must notify public health within 24 hours of positive result. At the time of notification your team nurse will schedule you for the OB Orientation class and order prenatal vitamins.

Obstetrics: OB Orientation – In person group orientation is held every other Tuesday at 9 a.m. in the FMR classroom on the Ground Floor of the clinic. As an alternative, patients can choose to receive their orientation materials in a virtual format through TOL Secure Messaging.  Classes are scheduled through the appointment line or Women’s Health Clinic.
