Satellite pharmacy transitions to curbside drop-off, pick-up only

In an effort to help control the spread of COVID-19, the Satellite Pharmacy located at the Offutt Exchange will only allow curbside drop-off and pick-up of prescriptions starting Wednesday, March 25, 2020.

This change is in order to limit the continuing spread of COVID-19 to Offutt’s beneficiaries and community and is in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control’s guidance.

“I know this may inconvenience some, so I appreciate their patience and support as we do everything we can to fight COVID-19, prevent its spread across our installation and community while continuing to focus on preserving mission,” said Col. Gavin Marks, 55th Wing commander.

Patrons are encouraged to follow traffic flow instructions when approaching the Exchange. All pharmacy visitors should remain in their vehicles and should not go into the pharmacy lobby.

All refills will continue to be requested through the phone-in refill line at (402) 294-4758. All new prescriptions must be activated prior to going to the pharmacy, through TOL Secure Messaging at  www.TOLsecuremessaging.com or by calling (402) 294-3228.

The pharmacy has added additional staff and phone lines to help with these new processes, but additional delays and processing times are expected.

“These are unprecedented times and we are all in this together,” Marks said.

As an additional option, Home Delivery through Express Scripts is another method that all beneficiaries can utilize. “We appreciate your patience, flexibility and understanding as we all respond to this global pandemic,” said Col. Julie Ostrand, 55th Medical Group commander.
