Family Medicine Residency Clinic

Appointments can be scheduled through the appointment line at 402-232-CARE (2273), Option 1. Online appointment booking is available through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. Click ‘View Patient Information/PCM’ to verify your assigned PCM. Please be sure to select the Air Force Medicine Offutt Family Medicine Residency clinic and look for appointments with your PCM or a member of their team.
 
Children aged 10 and older must present a military or government-issued ID card when requesting care at the clinic.

Walk-in services are non-urgent visits with a nurse or medical technician, using approved protocols. Walk-in hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - noon, for the following services:

  • Pregnancy testing if you meet the following criteria:
    • Positive home pregnancy test or more than one week late for menstrual cycle
    • No more than one walk-in pregnancy test is authorized in a seven-day timeframe
    • Walk-in services are only for qualitative testing (positive or negative)
  • Routine medication injections, such as Depo-Provera, B-12, testosterone
  • All other medical concerns require a scheduled appointment
MHS GENESIS Patient Portal
  • Appointment booking Many clinic appointments can be booked on the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal. Click View Patient Information/PCM to verify your assigned PCM. Please book in the Air Force Medicine Offutt Family Medicine Residency clinic and look for appointments with your PCM or a member of their team.
  • Messaging The best way to get in contact with your health care team for non-urgent concerns, referral requests, and other questions not requiring an appointment is through the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal.
  • Prescription Renewals (no refills remaining) Using the MHS GENESIS Patient Portal, click on Health Record > Medications and submit a renewal request to Offutt Family Medicine Residency_(PCM Name). Please submit renewal requests when you have at least 10-14 days remaining on maintenance medications.
  • Patient portal access is dependent on credentials managed by the Defense Manpower Data Center. Parents have full online access to Protected Health Information of dependents ages 12 and under. Patient portal access for parents/guardians of adolescents ages 13-17 is limited to viewing appointments, messaging, immunizations, and allergies. Well Child visits are recommended at the following ages (shots on any day other than the same day as a well-child visit must be scheduled in the Immunizations Clinic)
  • Newborn/2 days
  • 2 weeks
  • 2 months (shots during second month)
  • 4 months (shots during fourth month)
  • 6 months (shots during sixth month)
  • 9 months
  • 12 months (shots on or after first birthday)
  • 15 months
  • 18 months
  • 24 months (2 years)
  • 3 years
  • 4 years
