Medical Standards Management Element (MSME)
Members will initiate the Medical Clearance Review by logging onto the My Individual Medical Readiness site at https://asimsimr.health.mil/. Air Force Members will request a Medical Clearance Review for the following actions:
- Developmental Special Duty
- Initial Flying Class physicals
- Overseas PCS
- Palace Chase/Palace Front
- PME attendance requiring an AF Form 422
- Only CONUS PCS that require an AF Form 422
STEP 2a: Overseas PCS:
Members will be directed to send their Medical Clearance Memorandums and Personnel Processing Codes, located on their RIP to: firstname.lastname@example.org. PCS clearances are processed no earlier than 120 days from RNLTD. Members should ensure all of their IMR (PHA, immunizations, and HIV tests) are current and will remain current 60 days past their report no later than date. Once the member has initiated the process through the MyIMR site and emailed the Medical Standards box with appropriate paperwork, a comprehensive record review will be done to ensure member is medically qualified for the OCONUS PCS. MSME staff will contact member via email with instructions to schedule and complete specific medical tasks (i.e., face to face with primary care manager, PACAF/SG Waiver).
STEP 2b: All other actions listed above (retraining, special duty, etc.):
Members will be directed to send their CC/FM approval letter, AFPC email, AMS listing and/or any verbiage required on the AF Form 422 to: email@example.com. Sister Service Commissioning Physicals (all other branches of military) need an appointment with their PCM for all paperwork completion.
NAVY SEA/OPERATIONAL DUTY SUITABILITY SCREENING:
Navy personnel must first email a copy of their sea duty orders, Page 13 Memo, NAVMED 1300/1, DD 2807-1, to: firstname.lastname@example.org. PCM appointment will be scheduled after being cleared by MSME.
NAVY SHORE DUTY SUITABILITY SCREENING
does not require an appointment. Navy personnel should email their Page 13 Memorandum to: email@example.com. After a medical record review, you will receive an email back with instructions and/or information about any necessary actions you need to take. Failure to include all of the above information delays completion of your paperwork. All emails will receive a response within 3 business days. Emailing your request provides a tracking mechanism for the member and for the Medical Standards office.
